Writing Desk license

This license covers "My Writing Desk", the downloadable writing and publishing kit from Pages to Paradise, whether you bought it on its own, in a bundle or as part of a subscription: its instructions, commands, rules, templates, genre packs, custom chat agents and tools (together, "the Desk"). It's between you, the buyer, and Pages to Paradise. By buying access or downloading the Desk, you agree to it.
What you get
A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Desk for your own writing and publishing business.
What you can do
- Use the Desk for your own books, under your own name and any of your own pen names.
- Install it on your own computers and devices.
- Change anything in it (rules, commands, templates, tools) to suit how you work.
- Publish and sell everything you write with it. Your books, your words and your sales are yours. Pages to Paradise claims no rights to anything you create with the Desk.
What you can't do
- Share, copy for, give, sell, rent or lend the Desk, or any part of it, to anyone else. That includes uploading it to shared drives, groups, communities, courses, marketplaces, file-sharing sites, or public AI tool or prompt libraries.
- Repackage, resell or sublicense the Desk, its commands, prompts, templates or tools, as they are or changed, as your own product. That includes selling templates, prompt packs, courses or software built from them.
- Use the Desk to provide writing, ghostwriting, formatting or publishing services to other people or businesses. (Custom desks and team licenses are available from Pages to Paradise.)
- Remove or change the licensing built into your copy.
Licensing is built in
Your copy is licensed to you personally. Your license, your name and your account are built into the files themselves, throughout the Desk, and every download is recorded against your account. Removing or changing any of it is a breach of this license.
If a copy is found being shared or sold, Pages to Paradise can trace it back to the account it came from, have it taken down, and end that account's license and access.
Downloads and updates
You get one download of each version of the Desk through your Pages to Paradise account. New computer, or lost your copy? Email [email protected] and we'll send you another. Updates to the Desk, when released, are offered through your Pages to Paradise account while your access is active. New tools and add-ons may be sold separately.
Ownership
Pages to Paradise owns the Desk and its content. This license gives you the right to use it as described above. It doesn't transfer ownership. Third-party software the Desk works with (such as Antigravity, VS Code, Gemini, Claude, Python, Google Chrome, Amazon KDP and Cloudflare) is covered by those companies' own terms.
Using it responsibly
The Desk helps you work with AI tools. You're responsible for what you publish: checking AI-assisted writing before you publish it, answering Amazon's AI content questions truthfully, and following the rules of every platform you publish or advertise on. Platform rules change, so check the current rules (like KDP Help) before you rely on anything in the Desk.
No guarantees
The Desk is provided as is. It doesn't guarantee any sales, income, rankings or results, and it isn't legal, tax or financial advice. Pages to Paradise isn't responsible for losses from using the Desk, the AI tools it works with, or decisions made with it, to the extent the law allows.
Ending the license
The license lasts as long as you follow it. If you break it, it ends, and you must delete every copy you have. Your rights to your own books never end.
